google uk not working for me now either
Server not found
Firefox can't find the server at https://www.google.co.uk.
* Check the address for typing errors such as
ww.example.com instead of
https://www.example.com
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Uninstall the reinstall FF. Thats what I would do...
And check firewall settings also.0 -
The problem was with gmail systems itself. Gmail users were having problems accessing gmail because of a fault that lies with the conflict caused by firewalls that users have on their computers or systems. It was something to do with the 3rd party cookie control that is utilised in your firewall setup.
The way it told me to get round this was to add "www.gmail.com" to my list of sites that is ok to access on my firewall, clean the cache and log back on, it worked as well. Looks like that problem has been fixed as others have reported to get back on.
I also think that FF has also had intermittent problems recently as pages seem to load up straught away, I need to refresh and then its ok.0 -
Thank you,
It seems to be loading ok at the moment although seems slower than normal0 -
Yea some other posters have said that the internet is bit unstable at the moment because of the Domain Name Server activities. It's kinda like the whole world is online at the same time.0
