  • That does worry me just in case the Housing associations buy a load but I doubt they would as I thought they did not have any money too. How do I find that out?
    Thanks

Is the house in the Wixams?.If it is the following link might be useful. There is a master plan in the design guide dated 22nd Feb 2007 which might answer your question.(ref 8.7 affordable housing)

My advise is to knock as much as possible off. I live in Bloor house and i can confirm openly that they are rubbish. Not the best quality.Certainly not amongst the top 10.
Do not be afraid to knock off as much as possible. It is called bargaining. They can laugh but who cares.
You stand a good chance as the market for new build is dead. So make your offer to begin the negotiation.
But i would strongly advise you check for all snags before you complete purchase. If property is not detached, pay attention to party wall (separating wall) sound insulation with the next door property.
    Goodluck

I would be very worried about buying in a non-established location..

we were waiting for the Bloor show home to open,

So they are just starting the development - so the show home will not actually be available for you to buy for ages - and prices may have gone down in the meantime.

As a retired conveyancing solicitor I believe the information given in the post to be useful assuming any properties concerned are in England/Wales but I accept no liability for it.

So they are just starting the development - so the show home will not actually be available for you to buy for ages - and prices will have gone down substantially in the meantime, especially as new builds are obscenly overpriced in the first instance.
