sorry u need to treat me like an idiot as im crap at comp things. whats system restore how do i do it0
-
Delete the 2 files
Recycle bin should be on desktop, right click it, empty
Start, help, system restore, turn off, ok, then turn back on
Hopefully it should delete everything that was detected.0 -
ok will do that now0
-
right ive deleted and emptied the box now when i click on restore it says restore my comp to an earlier time or create you own point. i clicked one the first one but it says i need to pick another date to restore it? so then created my own point0
-
You need to turn system restore off, not create a restore point.
Try, start, control panel, system, system restore, turn off system restore on all drives, ok
Turning off system restore will zap all those files under \System Volume Information in your kaspersky scan.
Then when zapped, turn it back on again0 -
right ok ive seen it in the properties section ive turned it off and is that it. iveclicked on it and its asking me if i want to turn it back on again0
-
providing you ok'd it before, yes. You have to ok or apply it for it to do anything0
-
ok'd it b4? ok i clicked on it and it asked me if i wanted to turn it back on and i have done that0
-

remove the tick, hit ok, should take you back to control panel, then go back in, put the tick back, ok0
