Can I get any help for dyslexic child

    It is a long and frustrating process. It is not helped by a whole generation of educational psychologists who don't like 'labels'. I am actually an experienced and highly skilled learning support teacher. In spite of this it has taking me years of fighting to get an official diagnosis for my daughter. It was only a new additional support for learning act coming into force in Scotland in November that gave me the power to demand the tesing be done. I knew myself she was, I had done all the testing with collegues of mine.
