Hey All!
Does anyone know what my fastest way of getting an internet connection installed would be on my new rented apartment? I suspect most ISPs like BT have a 1 week wait for installation. The option of going cable only without landline would also i suspect be faster as then i don't have to wait for BT to reactive the phoneline before setting up ISP, does any have any suggests for no landline ISPs that can install FAST?
USB dongle is another option while i wait for it to be installed o2 have a one month contract but that will end up costing me £100 just for the month. Anyone know of any others?
Many many thanks MSE!

If you don't want/have an existing BT line then your only option is Virgin Media (if you are in a VM cabled area).
If you need a service NOW then just get a PAYG dongle from 3,Vodafone or o2 and use that until you have the permanent connection, typical cost around £50 plus your data charges. No free lunch, and no free laptop

I ordered O2 broadband on a Friday, it was connected by close of business on the following Monday. Effectively the next working day.
You will need an active phone line before you can order any kind of ADSL product. There is the cable option but you will likely be waiting at least a week for that0
