Good morning to you all...just back from my driving lesson....went on a dual carriage way for the first time, all I can say is ...and why did I wait until I was forty seven to learn how to drive
Kazmeister ~ I wouldn't be happy if my OH left a ten year old at home while he went down the pub. It's something you can understand in an emergency, but not for going out and having a good time.

Morning everyone,
I seem to have reverted back to my student habits over the holiday of staying up late, and sleeping in late. Must get out of that habit as I'll never be able to adjust properly when I go back to work.
I was a very good flylady last night and washed and dried up all of the dinner things and wiped over the sides and hob again straight after dinner, instead of letting the washing up build up. I think I'm going to try and make it a habit to do this, as one of the pans had started to smell in the load I did yesterday.
The lasagne was quite nice, but I think I need to make a few adjustments to the recipe before I post on here, as the tomato sauce wasn't thick enough, and I think it needed a bit more seasoning - I ommitted garlic as it's mid-week and OH is at work with customers, but maybe if I add some parmesan, or stronger cheese, it'll be better.
I know I've just missed a HHC, but does anyone want to join me in one at 11?
Happy Birthday Jennybee
Hugs to greenbee and her mum.

thriftykatie wrote: »Sunnygirl - agree with you about the threading. I love it and lasts for ages. Is that London Selfridges? Seems a bargain - I get it done at House of Fraser and it costs £14. Think it's 6 then one free though - will have to do the maths...
No...it was at The Trafford Centre in Manchester. I thought it was a bargain too and I'm really pleased with them so well worth it.
Rosepink...threading is a method of hair removal...I had it done on my eyebrows. They use cotton thead twisted and somehow yank the hairs out. It does hurt but imo no more than waxing or plucking.
Not fully caught up on the thread yet so hugs for those who needs them. DH is off today so we'll see how much I get done with him around. Seems like its always a lot less for some reason.0
