    Morning all

Finding it a bit hard to get going this morning for no reason, mybe it is because we have lost the sunshine.

Broke - hope you do well with your flying today. Rember some of us have been doing this for a few years and are still rubbish some of the time.

Pigpen - I hope you get the bills sorted, our gas was over £600, not had all of the other others yet, I need to check if our usage was higher than last year or just the price per unit.

Soappie thanks for the recipe tips - I can see you becoming our regular Nigella (I was going to say Deliah but I'm sure you're more Nigella)

Jennybee hope you slept ok and are not dwelling on your 'friend' this morning. Today is your Birthday so have fun and think of just you x

    Plan for today:

    Finish DS3 clothes sort
Put DS3 stuff back in his room
    Clear and clean the landing
    Clean the bathroom.
    Meal plan
    Shopping list
    Food shop
    stuff to scrap store
    Ring sister in law
    one piece of Nan's paperwork
chicken pellet tossing if it is dry
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair

is it too early or does anyone fancy an HHC at 9.30-10?

I have loads to try and do today.
    toots xx

I'll join you - have been a lazy mare and done nothing this week. Have not gone away so no excuse really

Hope everyone is well - Happy birthday Jennybee - hope you have a great day :D
Have not read anything else and 'lost it' with last weeks thread too so sorry if I have missed anything important. Might treat myself to a bit of catching up later.

Toots. Good luck next week - I hope it all goes well for you.
Rosepink. To quote the blurb on the back of the card, 'Threading is a natural method of hair removal which originates from the ancient traditions in the Middle East, India & China. Only 100% cotton thread is skillfully held by the hands & mouth to easily remove individual hairs from the root, leaving excellent results.' I find it relatively painless, I like the effect it gives as well.

Have sorted yesterdays dry washing & hope to iron it this afternoon.
Still headachy from yesterday but trying to ignore it!
Might try & find some compost & pot up the herbs I got yesterday if it isn't too wet outside.

That's all for now, have a good day everyone,
    cally

    What is it with friends?

Rather than be upset by the incident perhaps you could think that you are lucky you have a friendship where your friend tells YOU how she is feeling (and you have chance to defend yourself) rather than talk to others about you.

Big hugs and hope everything looks better in the morning.
This is such a good point Katie, thanks. I find it hard sometimes to get the right perspective on things! She said that if she wanted to keep our friendship and that's why she'd talked to me about it.

Went to the doc's to have a blood test, she tried in both hands and even asked to see my feet to see if she could get a vein! I've got thin veins and it's hard to get blood from me! She managed in the end from my wrist!

My support worker is coming round in a minute - she said she will help me to clear up. That will be good because it's such a mess. I will go to bed after probably cos I had a really bad night and have to go out tonight - it's the Memorial of Christ's death, so obviously I want to go and commemmorate it.
