    Thanks Pigpen & Toots.

I'm in, and have already made a start on this week's list, although I have the challenge of turning the mattress ahead of me. The new mattress is almost impossible to turn single handed!

I've frozen all the cakes I made today (two butterscotch layer cakes, 1 vanilla loaf for making houses - don't ask! - out of, 28 cupcakes to be decorated with white icing and pink flowers), and am slowly clearing the stickiness from the kitchen... it's been made worse by the fact that I managed to let the caramel boil over :o

Fishcakes and chips cooking... must remember to do some peas so I have something green with them. And to do my physio

Just had some get up and go so got up and did it. Wardrobes all spick and span. Striped the bed, stuck in washing machine, turned matress and put on new protector, put fresh bedding on. Did all windows today. All hoovered now. So that just leaves the dailies tomorrow. Might have to do this night thing while the schools are off otherwise I won't do any flying!

    Hi All,

Im so gutted that i missed the weekend meet. I hope it went well and you all had a fab time. I was so tired and knew i had a long drive so thought I would have a 20 minute nap. I set an alarm........ and slept right through it. Poor BF was worried too - I was supposed to call him when i got to Southampton and let him know i was ok. When he still hadnt heard from me by 14.30 he was getting worried.

Sorry to all. Im really disappointed.

Anyway, here is my list for tomorrow......

I've had a good weekend otherwise, and a FAB day today, went to the leisure resort at the nearby golf course, went to the gym, swimming then spent ages in the shower room, doing hair, make up, painting nails, and generally plucking and preening. It was fab - I never get that much time to do anything for myself......I totally loved it. :j

Bless BF - he bought me a voucher to go back and a £20 voucher for treatments so i can go again while im still signed off work. :T

Afterward we went for dinner in the clubhouse and it was good, couple of glasses of wine, then came home.

All in all, i have had a fab fab day.

I havent caught up with the thread, so big love and hugs to all in need and will catch up tomorrow xxxxxxxx

I'm in again, I would really like to get one room completely sorted out this week.

I've rehomed my chickens because they were getting bigger and bigger and I need bantams really because of the size of the run we have for them. So I'm a bit sad.

Done the usual this weekend, cooking, clearing, decluttering, sorting, wiping, binning, sweeping, hoovering.

Glad site up and running again. Will await to see what this week brings, unfortunately I don't have any time off so will have to do as I go along.

great froddy - have you cleared everything into the spare room so that you are only dealing with one place??? At least then if you dont get the spare room finished the rest of the house will be sparkly!!!???? toots xx

Not quite - I need someone to come and carry a couple of boxes upstairs as I can't carry them at the moment. If I can't get anyone to do it this week, then I'll have to unpack a bit at a time and get it upstairs that way. But .... the front bit of my front room is clear (it's two rooms knocked into one, and the sofa sort of splits it IYSWIM) so that is progress ;)

sounds like a great day Jo. I used to belong to a gym and the thing i like the most was having a shower afterward then doing my hair etc.

aw triker honey - do you mean you havent got them anymore? how sad - you really loved your chooks too. Will you be getting bantams or is that just wishful thinking?

As for your rooms - pick one room and sit down tonight and make a detailed list of what needs doing and try do a little bit from the list everyday - even just a tiny bit of decluttering or cleaning - and get the girls to do a little bit each and by the end of the week you wont have so much to do to get one room absolutely sparkly:confused:

Jo - what a shame you missed the meet - but it was a long drive after having driven from here so you were bound to be puggled!! Sounds like a very nice me-time day - just what you were needing! xx

Ok I have vacummed the LR and the hall and the crumbs off the kitchen floor!
    next............
    toots xx
