Thanks for the quick reply but is it based on facts known to you or just the assumption as they are big they must be bad?

Bloor homes are building a massive estate about 2 miles from where I live.....I'm no builder but I know that a staircase should actually fit together.....and also not coming away from a wall

I also know that (remember the snow we had) that a well insulated loft will keep the snow on the roof as the heat isn't getting out.

I also know that i shouldn't be able to hear the tap running in the bathroom upstairs when I'm stood in the kitchen.

Especially when I paying a huge price for it.

These are just a couple of things I picked up in the couple of times I walked around a Bloors home.......(pretty much the same for the wimpy ones to and persimmons)
If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly

I've only ever been wrong once! and that was when I thought I was wrong but I was right
  • We bought our current house from Bloor in 2005. The house is well built, the after sale service is excellent.

We had a few issues: one tile blown off the roof; 2 cracks on the exterior wall, blocked private darinage. All of them were sorted very quickly. The ladies at the service department have been very helpful.

There are very little cracks inside the house, unlike most of the new houses. Kitchen and bathrooms were finished nicely with quality units.

visited a Bloor showhome recently, it looked OK. They have in the last week raised the price of the 3 bed houses by around £5k per house!!

Should be dropping prices not raising them - crazy fools!
