Cheaper Tesco Broadband for existing customers

I currently have Tesco 512 Broadband with no download limits for £17.97 and am a Tesco Home Phone customer too.
There is currently an offer for new customers to get Broadband for £14.97 for 12 months if taken together with Home Phone plus 5% off phone bill for life plus the obvious points or cashback incentives too.
I phoned up to see if I could get either or both discounts. Well apparently I cant get 5% off phone bill but if you click on your account at tesco.net and go to change package you get the option to benefit from the reduced Broadband price if you quote code 61001.
The only drawback is that you are signing up to 12 months again but as I have no intention of moving it will save me £36 all for the same package
