I was a nervous wreck the week before going to get him. I had blinding headaches, felt sick all the time. Even when coming back with him, it was doubt etc. Will he settle in, will he be ok at work, will he ...... will he..
I'm not even a dog lover, but he is cute:D
Do you both get your perms done at the same place:rotfl:
You "know" when an animal is "right" & a member of your family;) You struck gold:T0 -
My hair is as straight as a dye - as they say. Bane of my life, I must be the only person I know that doesn't need straightners - and it is not a nice straight - so I have tong it to give it a lift....I'm not even a dog lover, but he is cute:D

Meanwhile, Jim is doing great - flaked out on fluffy cushion up the side of me.
MrsE - so called hard guy at work who is a 'cat person' - adores Jim, finds him funny and he says he 'cracks him up'! Everyone seems to love him - and vice versa. He is a lovely little soul. Very gentle, very kind and very obedient, not sure what I have done to deserve him. Am a very lucky person to have found him.

I'm so glad it is working out so well for you. After all of your effort and care in your search for the right dog I'm so glad it has turned out so well with Jim.My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

Poodles are susposed to be the cleverest dogs, thats why they use them in the circus.
I know what you mean about a home. Mine didn't feel like one without a cat.0 -

He's very bright and obedient - great on and off the lead, but doesn't know the basic's like 'sit' and 'down' - I have six days off over Easter and some treats, so lets see what we can do!.Poodles are susposed to be the cleverest dogs, thats why they use them in the circus.

Re the circus -- he loves everyone and when the customers come in to either drop off or pick up their cars, there is Jim - on two legs doing a dance for them!
He managed, very cleverly, to step on his bowl of dry food which catapulted into the air and land pretty much all of it in his water......... later today he was scratching about under my desk, where he sleeps, and when I came off the phone, found that he had clawed and scratched the underneath of his vet bed (rubber based) and covered himself in white rubber confetti and a large area of the carpet...... I had to get the hoover out.
I wasn't impressed but forgave him.
