thank goodness, I was beginning to worry you had been kidnapped by nigerian dog scammers or something!!

He's unbelieveable. Picked him up last Sunday - when got back here early afternoon, it was like he had always been here.

No problems, there was one day when he didn't eat that well and I got a tad neurotic for a few hours. He loves everybody and everyone. He is superb on AND off the lead. He has now done a full week at work - and the guys (hard and ruthless mechanics) cannot believe that they have 'fallen' for a poodle! He is so funny and makes them laugh. They call him 'security' and warn customers that he'll take your arm off if you are not careful!! They also think it would be fun if Jim wore a fluorescent jacket..........

He is just so perfect. I am completely and utterly gobsmacked. I could not in a million years have hoped for a better dog - and as I type, he is stretched out like he has been here years. I feel incredibly lucky.

I was a nervous wreck the week before going to get him. I had blinding headaches, felt sick all the time. Even when coming back with him, it was doubt etc. Will he settle in, will he be ok at work, will he ...... will he.....

Meanwhile.... remember my crate idea thread?? Anyone want to buy one?? I took one into work, Jim lasted about ten minutes and the guys let him out and now he sleeps under my desk with toys and gets up to greet the customers and play with his new 'colleagues'. The crate may come in handy one day in the future........

Meanwhile (again), I have another one - still in the box, unopened, that I got for him when at home... Not needed :D And - I have to confess - he sleeps on my bed ... :o Jim tended to hog it a bit (amazing for one so small), but he is learning which is his side.............

Think you could say that Jim is settling in bl**dy well.

Poodles In Need site have been brilliant - such lovely people on there - like here. Very supportive and Jim has featured in the latest newsletter!

I cannot for love nor money remember how I got the link for Jim, whether I found it myself or someone sent the link. In case someone on here sent me the link - I would really love to send them a huge thank you!! If you did - please let me know.
