Just checked my policy and it says it's a Provider Plus Plan. Is this different to the Bonus CashBuilder Plan?"A rich man is nothing but a poor man with money."0

Yes it is. Generically similar but it is a different product set up on different terms.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Damn! So I guess it doesn't fall under the same FSA ruling for the BCP?"A rich man is nothing but a poor man with money."0

Hello everyone. We've just found this thread.
We started our policies on 8th Feb 2002. What would we be best doing? We started at £20 a month and are paying in £40 a month now. We are just over half way through our term.
Thanks

My head is bouncing!
Just made redundant and wanting to obtain as much money as possible obviously.
I took out one of these cash builder plus accounts in 1996 paying initially £20 which is now £50 pm.
I really couldn't care less about mis selling or anything else........... can I ask for some money back now?
(still as stupid as when I took the thing out!!!)0 -

Yours was bought direct in 1996. You have no grounds for mis-sale. So, you can forget that.
Yes. You can ask them to surrender the investment. You may not get back what you pay in and there will be a penalty but they can surrender.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
