Well....i just called Vodafone, and they are prepared to give me an 18 month contract for £22.50/month: 600 mins and unlimited texts. I so want a 12 month contract though as after 6 months, i change my phone.....i get fed up LOL
    Unsure what to do....

That's an upgrade and not as a new customer I'm presuming?

    Nope, i'm a new customer......
  • How are they offering you that deal then? The cheapest they have online is free phone for a £30/month (18 month) or £25/month (24months) with the allowance you posted.

Funnily enough I asked them about the same deal and got the same response. Seemingly they have some leeway if you put pressure on them (personally I let the guy now that I was looking to renew with Orange).

Ayeshasi, you should be aware that your desire for a 12 month contract (or an early upgrade) is highly unrealistic, especially with the fantastic deal they've put in front of you as a new customer. 12 month contracts are hard to come by these days (18 month is standard), and even when they are offered they are invariably less economical. If you want a 12 month deal, you're going to have to pay more or get less. That's just the way it is.

    hmmm.....ok......
    My other option is:
My husband is on a good deal with T-mobile for £20/month with Flext 40. Now, he is getting an upgrade in Aug....his contract is for 12 months. He said that i can keep the phone and use my sim that i already have...am just not sure what to do :S

Ive been looking at tocco ultra deals and vodafone was on my list as they do 12 month deals, the best i found was dialaphone £40 - 600 mins and 500 texts £105 cashback via dial a phone and go via quidco would get you another £60 back. I opted for the 18 month via 02 with £110 quidco which im hoping will be easier to claim and suits me better.
The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

It most certainly will be. Few doubts there.
