Sally and NoName - good luck with the studies. I just have to say, thank godness I have finished with studying. Its hard work but it will be worth it in the end

If I have to choose, then the answer is clear :eek: Trying to win some holiday as I feel so stale (his birthday soon and I am trying to win a weekend away or something, and if not then I have to cut on spending)

My overtime hours did not go through :eek: (some hours did but not all) and I feel so disappointed since I worked in my holiday only to get extra pay in time for his birthday...really unhappy about that!!! I have to call payroll tomorrow and chase after that...hate it.

OMG!! I'm in a single bed for the first time in about 10 years!! OH has gone to Kent and I'm stopping at my mums tonight. Haven't been on much today cos I needed to do some housework and needed to be socialable with the parents!! hehe!

Oh thanks a lot PD, I am glad someone relates. I have started to feel extremely low about the whole research recently, losing my motivation to be very honest and now is a critical time for me (writing up and on extension) but I feel that I want to switch off at the slightest encounter, which is not good. Also working 20 hours a week is draining, I can't imagine how people do full time and are parents etc x

Everything does seem stressful sometimes, and i wonder why im doing social work, especially when you get people who are rude/aggressive to you, and all the paperwork too!:eek:
But can't wait for it all to be over!

I'd choose comping over studying too!!
I'm entering all comps, apart from tickets for things or holidays, cos im not going to have the time for them anyway!
But no wins seem to have my name on it, even though i've entered nearly 4000!!!:eek:
Don't worry about your hours, they can't not pay you, so when they do you could maybe do a belated celebration for your oh?!!?:D
