Thanks everyone, I thought I had online security covered with her tbh, she is clever and only uses a netbook to get online which is in the lounge a couple of feet from where I sit!!!! I have done the horror stories and shared with her when someone on here was not as they seemed, when it comes to your kids being safe there is no trick too low. For now the internet privilege is withdrawn but in this day and age that can't really be the long term solution, she needs to learn to deal with it and use it safely.

Blocking sites is not the answer for me - she is a good girl but has been suckered in by some emotional BS. We banned her from Bebo and she has respected that, but has gone out of her way to try to find the man again through other means!!!! We can only hope she is telling the truth when she says she has not given out any other contact details. This has been so scary and a real lesson in this can happen to anyone. I never believed in spying on kids, don't even go in her room, but my OH did and I am thanking God now! Sometimes the quieter more serious kids can be the worst, but at least it has turned out ok in the end. Please, everyone, don't think them being in the same room as you is enough -check what they are looking at!

OMG - i am in total shock!!!! I have won £290 on bingo this past week - won £60 on monday, £40 this morning and £200 just!!!! I am so happy!!!!!!! Not smiled so much in ages It has all been banked now xxxxx

need to get parental software on mine, our comp is in sitting room and the position of it makes it easy to see what they are looking at etc

need to get ds up in a mo for his evening snack and insulin
