KKK - I know how hard it is to not see someone when they are ill.

When I was pregnant with my LO my sister was pregnant at the same time, she was due a few weeks after me with my nephew. I had a phone call when she was almost 24 weeks gone to say she'd had a little boy but he was very ill so I raced over to see them straight away & spent most of that day with them all but my sister wasn't really with us due to the drugs she'd been given to stop the labour then to help with it when the midwifes realised they couldn't stop it so she didn't even know I was there :( 3 Days later she made the agonising decision to turn off my nephews machines & he died that day aged 3 days old. She asked all the family to be there but asked me not to due to me still being pregnant (I would have been about 26/27 weeks) so I had to respect that but it was horrible to get the text from family to say he had passed away.

That is so sad - crying again now. Sorry xxxx This world is so carp why do bad things happen to good people? xxxx

  • He would have been 3 next month had he lived, my LO goes 3 in August (Nephew was due September) so even now when I look at my LO I think about him constantly because they would have been so close. It's my children's only cousin (my brother's new girlfriend has a son already but the kids don't call him cousin yet).

I think i would be the same - i'd think about him all the time and more so around birthday times xxxx
