Bargain of the century for me is the current booklet's offer on contact lenses. I just bought 240 pairs of Cibavision Focus Dailies (daily disposable lenses) for £105. I bought 2 x 90-day packs but the current offer gives you an extra 30 days for each pack you buy. That works out at 44p per pair.

This is my first time wearing contact lenses so I was equally impressed that all three fitting sessions totalling 90 minutes (initial consultation, next day followup and 10 pairs of trial lenses, then a final consultation yesterday) cost a single £12.99 payment.

I heard Makro will be selling the new Call of Duty game on X box and PS3 - Modern Warfare 2 for £29.99 +VAT. Seems a steal to me.

which would make it about 34.5p each

Your example of 9+3free for £4.40 equates to 36.7p per roll

If my Costco price is correct you need to find 9 packs at under £3.10 (or 12 packs at under £4.14) to get a better deal.

Asda are selling this for £27 and Sainsburys for £26 on 10/11/09, both including VAT

Wow, thanks for working that out for me. I saw an ad for Sainsbury where 12 rolls were £4.82 so this seems a really good deal.

Was in Sainsburys earlier today and specifically went to check what they were selling them for.

I can confirm it is a 9 rolls + 3 rolls free pack for £4.82
