Come of it you are a homophobe and have not even got the guts to admit it.
It's in black and white and you are trying to divert it.
You even think going to a gay bar wit a gay person is a big thing.
Whooooo welcome to the bright new world.
Perhaps if you tried to write in a different style, people wouldn't spot your sock puppets so easily Dithering Dad. Are off work today or making the long travel back home this weekend?RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

The joke is still insuating that oxbridge is full of homosexuals.
Do you Really think a comedian explained a joke on stage?
I know you are "all bears stick together" and all that but get a grip.
You have misinterpreted the joke, actually. This is from a review of one of his shows:He starts off by boasting the he went to Cambridge University but quickly adds that he's not smug or up himself he just got good A-levels because didn't have a girlfriend. Timing is everything, adding that we shouldn't be intimidated by clever people, they're just not good with the poontang so have more time on their hands to study
Hardly homophobic, is it?0 -
FWIW, at risk of being the target of the next witch hunt I have now reported the thread, but not an individual with in it.
I just thought I'd be honest about it.
ETA: I have also asked for guidance on reporting. because I didn't find anything personally offensive, but I might have done if I were on the receiving end of any of the accusations being thrown about.0 -

Thanks for the quote. I was going to look and see if I could find it later.RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

No, it's just that the public sector doesn't pay the king's ransom people on here think it does! I went to Oxford and I didn't earn over 27k until I was, er, 27 in fact.
I didn't realise that the public sector was still paid so low. I can understand more clearly the need for the pensions now. From what some civil servants have put on here about the importance of their job, I had (wrongly) assumed they were paid a good wage.RENTING? Oh so this is the type Oxbridge go for.MissMoneypenny wrote: »What Alan Carr said. Think back to your schooldays and how the girls always fancied the same schoolboys. Other boys tried to chat the girls up, but nobody wanted to go out with them.
I worry about this site I really do.
As long as you can stick together and make homophobic comments so be it.
Perhaps it's a class thing but If I said a particular "type" I would have the decency explain it.0 -
Is the intention of this argument to try and get the Halifax thread pulled because it is irritating to bulls?0

No sorry for the OT but it was well out of order what MMP insinuated to SH without explaing what she meant by "type" other than a homosexual related joke.
I fully accept that prices will fall all year. Someone can use that as a signature:)
please do discuss the price drop not Oxford and any sexual inuendo.0 -

I doubt that. You go around this website trying to cause as much trouble as you can. I had a run in with you myself several months ago and your comments were beneath contempt. When I read this site there you are again and again trying to stir up trouble. Sad.0 -

The joke, and the comment accompanying it has been explained to you. You chose to interprete the joke as homophobic. New information has shown that it is obviously not.
Just move on now0
