If there was a gang for every one who said odd things this board would be empty.

I don't think I should have to watch this kind of blatant bigotry by MMP.

Sorry boards would be nicer without bigots like MMP

£44k is a lot for a new graduate, even in London. Less than 5% of graduates will start on this. The median is about $24k. I started on £23k when I graduated but if you include other benefits like living allowance and 'golden hello', I guess the first year salary I was on gets easily increased to £30k.

Yep. I don't think I know of a city law firm that pays that to 1st year trainees (I think the highest is £42k? And the next highest £40k but thats probably out of date.)

Sadly, this is another once-interesting thread that has fallen victim to trolling. If I wanted these sorts of arguments, I'd join the HPC madhouse.

    Oh what garbage.

Is that what you meant Miss Moneypenny?

LIR i know you are a nice person but this joke means he only went to Oxbridge as it was full of people who would make love to him.
I was thinking more of the type of person the comedian Alan Carr, said went to Oxbrigde. He said he got there as he couldn't find a girl that would have s e x with him.

Simple, Report anything you find offensive, I'm starting to do just that, having never bothered before. I actually wasn't referring to Miss Moneypenny's posts when I typed that anyway, but Sir Humph. :)

ETA: I meant that Sir Humph seems to be trget number 1 in this new hunt.

Can some one explain what ''type'' I'm married to? :)

What Alan Carr said. Think back to your schooldays and how the girls always fancied the same schoolboys. Other boys tried to chat the girls up, but nobody wanted to go out with them.
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

LOL, but still garbage. There is a certain sort of person at Oxford/Cambridge who seem terrified by ''women like me'' but you find them all over this country....and beyond. You also find a lot of very differnt types of people in both universities, and elsewhere.

DH never suffered from a lack of women, even before university. :)

No. I think Really2 is either on a crusade or really (scuse the pun) doesn't understand.

Why would I have a go a homosexuals LIR? Have you ever seen me do this before on this boards?

I agree, I know a oxford graduate who would not be lol.
It just peed me off that some one could even right such a thing in this day and age.
