O2 Pay&Go GPRS settings?

Minimods

I am trying to find the GPRS settings for my O2 P&G SIM. I have looked on the O2 website and its useless, it only lets you send the settings and my phone (XDA) isn't supported. I have also searched the internet but the settings I have found don't work (and have cost me money trying).

So can anyone give me some working settings?

TIA :j

These aren't the GPRS settings they're the GSM settings. Very slow, very expensive (charged per second).

I work for o2 tech support - here is a walkthrough for the GPRS settings. Note that as a pay&go user you can only access WAP not full internet access.

    Select START
    Select SETTINGS
Tap the CONNECTIONS tab at the bottom-right of the screen
Tap the CONNECTIONS icon on screen
Under the first drop-down menu 'When needed, automatically connect to The Internet using these settings:
Select the drop down to Internet Settings
    Tap Modify....
Tap NEW… or Tap once on an existing connection
Enter a connection name in the first drop-down box, for example O2 Mobile Web GPRS
Select the modem in the second drop-down box as CELLULAR LINE (GPRS)
Set the BAUD RATE (data speed) at 57600
Tap the ADVANCED button on the right of the screen
Leave the settings on the TCP/IP tab as default – use server assigned IP address
Tap the NAME SERVERS tab at the bottom
Tap USE SPECIFIC SERVER ADDRESS – the circle should now contain a black dot
Enter the DNS number as 193.113.200.200
Enter the ALT DNS number as 193.113.200.201
*** Leave the other entries blank ***
Tap OK at the top-right of the screen
Tap the NEXT button at bottom-right
    Enter the APN as mobile.o2.co.uk
Tap the FINISH button at bottom-right
Tap and hold the entry just created 'O2 Mobile Web GPRS' and select 'Always Dial'
Tap OK at top-rightSetting-up a Dialling LocationTap the DIALLING LOCATIONS tab at the bottom of the screen
Set the location in the first drop-down menu as MOBILE
Set the AREA CODE as blank - remove any default setting
Set the country code blank - remove any default settings
Tap the circle labelled TONE DIALLING
    Tick DISABLE CALL WAITING
Leave the DIAL number as *70,
Tap the DIALLING PATTERNS button at bottom-right
Check that all entries are set as G (or g)
    Tap OK at top-right
Tap the CONNECTIONS tab at bottom-left
Tap the CONNECT button under the INTERNET SETTINGS drop-down box
    Enter the USERNAME as o2web
    Enter the PASSWORD as password
    Leave DOMAIN blank
    Tick SAVE PASSWORD
    Tap OK to connect
Once connected tap Ok at the top right to close the connections screen down
Once connected, launch INTERNET EXPLORER from the START button

****These are for an XDA 1, if you have another model of XDA let me know and I'll post those settings.

    Neither of them work.

I am starting to think the phone isn't data enabled or they are blocking access for some reason, but its a brand new SIM that I got in the post tuesday with £2-50 credit on it.

This is so annoying, with Virgin it was much simpler!

I was also told that my phone isn't able to be used as a modem because It's an iMode phone and that it's on Pay and Go

If I'd have known that before I wouldn't have touched it
