AA breakdown cover, when i am i covered from ?

The only 2 contacts you need are positive (+) and negative (-). Connect the red wire to positive and black to negative, plug the charger in and try starting after 30 mins or so and then run for a while.
Some chargers have big red writing telling you NOT to do that. So read the manual is the best advice!0 -

Cool. Now buy the AA cover anyway
As for the question, my Dad did that once, about 10 years ago now. He broke down about 10 miles away from home, thankfully in a safe place so he just locked the car up and got the bus home.
When he got home he took out AA cover and two days later went back to the car and phoned them up to say he'd broken down. Sneaky, I suppose!0 -
I have to say if i hadn't managed with the battery charger i was going to do just that !
