It was marvellous. For a start I was a lot younger. Happy days. Not that I took much interest in politics then, too busy if you catch my drift.

Well. I'd like to be a Fungus type. Sadly, never was.
Marvelous for me too! I was young, working hard and earning loads. Yes I got made redundant a few times but I always bounced back and always on better money.

But yes, being younger was the main thing and I too wasn't particularly bothered about politics, I was busy being busy the same as mewbie.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Either rude, ignorant, or both. The poster has gone to the trouble to research BoE Base rates over a number of years, proving that rates of 15% also existed during the tenure of a Labour Govt, because it is an answer you dont want to see you resort to insults, so let me join in - you're 6d short of a 1/=:p

It's funny how the only argument Labour can come up with at the moment is "it'd be worse under the Tories".

Its quite laughable really, especially given the special effort Labour have made to ensure that we haven't missed out on the financial crisis.

What created the most humiliating financial crisis this country has ever had ?

To watch a Tory Chancellor sweating and shaking after 12 interest rises in one afternoon and finally capitulating and having to take this country out of the ERM Mechanism, and beg for funds from the IMF.

    I was Ashamed.
