Very washable paint (matt - interior)

The kitchen/bathroom paints I have used in the past have a 'silk sheen' type of finnish and I have had to resort to a scouring pad to remove some marks (like dried on cooking grease).

When I have done this in my kitchen it not only can take some of the paint off but there was also a subtle change in the colour depending on how hard you scrub. The weird thing was that the areas I scrubbed hard actually went darker in colour!

I used something from the Wicks kitchen/bathroom range.

There's something called Ace Sensation. It's not cheap but I have it and yes you can take a scouring pad to it. My walls are all painted white with it and they are still white two years on.
