My local one, Potters Bar in Herts is going to be a Carpet Right, can't see it lasting that long to be honest.
Would've liked to see a Wilkinsons in it's place.0 -
Stratford, east London, is already a 99p store, Forest Gate is already a Tesco's Express and i think the one in East Ham is another 99p store. They wasted no time in opening these stores. They occured within a matter of weeks of Woolworths closing.0

I went past the old Woolies shop in Llandudno yesterday and it's being refitted as a Publishers Book Clearance shop. As an avid reader I'm reasonably happy with this although there was a rumour that Primark were going to take it over which would have been better. Apparently Primark are taking over the old Woolies in Chester.
The funny thing is that PBC had a shop in Llandudno which they closed a couple of years ago. The unit has never been re-let and still has all the PBC signage outside so they already had a ready made shop in the town.
Typical of some retailers, unless they had the old Woolies on a cheap rent deal, be good if Primark go to Chester, I know Telford is nearer for me, but love Chester for shopping, (when the budget allows) xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Still empty in Glenrothes but it is one of many empty shops in our town centre and very little sign of any of them re-opening.0

The one in Horncastle is now Heron Foods, opened Tuesday this week.
The one in Boston is still empty n boarded up, wish Primark would move in there!
I think my local one ( March, Cambs) is opening as Heron Foods too.
