The one in North Finchley has got a Poundland sign up. Not sure when they are opening.

Is Poundland good and is everything £1 or do they have other more expensive items?

found out yesterday that my old local one in Didcot,Oxon is going to be Alworths (the 'new' woolworths) - my other local ones (Cowley) is now the 99p shop and Bicester is Iceland.

Ours in Stockton-on-Tees has been stood empty till this week, they have put a sign up for HM Bargains (something like that).So in the space of a little indoor shopping centre part of the town we will have HM Bargains, Home Bargains, Poundland and another poundshop.

Our old Wollies store in Pontefract is now a B & M Bargins. It's not the best shop in the world but you get the odd really good deal every now and again. Last one was packs of 10 cans of Budweiser for £6
