    Our Woolies closed early January; people have been in there fitting it out but its still empty! :(
    Rumours suggest the Birkenhead woolies may become B&M... it can't be poundland etc cause we already have one of them; we can only watch and wait.

    Hi,

    Anyone know what is happening with the Reading site?

    I doubt it will be iceland, as the old M&S simply food (in Caversham) is turning into one, and there's already another iceland quite close to the old woolies site (off chatham place)

    Another pound store would be great, or home bargains!

    Anyone know please?

    Hi, I did a search and didn't see that anyone had mentioned Newark so - the old Woolies store is being converted into 4 units and Peacocks should be moving into one of them, no news on the others though.

    I hope that's up to date info anyway ! :p

    This is Uxbridge. They pulled down West Draytons for posh yuppie flats. I'd hoped for a B&M or Home Bargains.
