Squeaking noise when turning corner, really worried!!

    i would guess its belt related too, sounds as if it might be an auxilliary belt that turns the power steering pump.
    ...work permit granted!

    Might be a wheel bearing on the way out.

    Could be a wheel trim squeeking on the tyre. Or a mud flap catching etc...
  • Right tried that and no noise at all so does that mean its not the belt?

    Most likely, especially if you held the wheel at the end stops and it still didn't squeal.

    Another thought is that the parking brake may be sticking on the rear wheels.

    Well between us we seem to have covered just about every moving part on the car. That only leaves the Infinite Improbability Drive :rolleyes:

  • Realised that I didnt let people know what was wrong with the car. It turned out to be the wheel bearing, all fixed now (has broken again since though lol)
    Recently married and loving it x
