But am having trouble working out where the list of places you can spend it in is?

I can now join the WEM's list! Just had an email to say I won £20! :j I guess all that moaning paid off!

Mar.cresham....all the codes I had entered I had the same message but now got a winner so it is still entered into draw. HTH

these cards can be a nightmare to use. oh yes i know they say they can be used anywhere... but they really can't in reality. you try redeeming one with a queue behind you at asda/tesco/sainsbury's/b&q/waterstones/ 9delete where applicable.). whilst the till operator has to call her supervisor... who then has to call for help... who then has to call the manager. awful . some pr agency really threw a blinder of a party/freebie to sell this carp prize. What happened to the idea of a cheque? =
nice. easy. traceable. none of this need to register all your personal details and log in-log out palalver. Initially, when you are lucky enough to win, you think WOW a free tenner!! hurrah for magnum! ... but believe me, once you've jumped through all the hoops to claim the cards... sign in, sign off, log in log off... rung c/s to chase up what happened to it .. sing in sign out, log in log off... and then, ( best of luck,) tried to cash it, well it's put me right off. this is MoneySavingExpert... once i've factored in my TIME involved for this measly amount.. well it doesn't t need an expert for me to realize, personally, it's a waste of my time!... hoorah to you if you've scooped the thousand ! you'll have a better view of this promotion than most. for myself, it's just a bitter view : i can't get over how badly run it has been fromt he onset and how badly managed subsequently. where's the food forum? after all this i want to make my own ice-cream anyway - and ht whole fmaily are behind me!

I won a pre-paid Mastercard from the Walkers competition and it was really great to use. Neither me nor hubby have a credit card - so it was quite a nice novelty, having previously found plenty of places online that won't accept debit cards :mad:

In the end we spent it in just 3 online shops but it was really easy to activate and spend.

I am really hoping that these Magnum cards will allow you to transfer it all to Paypal so that we can spend more than £20 a time. Does anyone have any info on this? I know you can't withdraw cash from an ATM but a funds transfer isn't the same

I just been entering all my saved codes since its working again and just realised I entered on the ireland site..
