I wonder whether we'll be able to do split transactions with these cards?
I know with the Snackajacks cards you could put the card towards something of greater value than the card and long as you asked the cashier to do a split transaction. Then the whole value of the card was used and you could pay the remainder in cash etc.

It would be a bit of a pain to have to find something worth exactly £10, £20 etc.

Hmmm...

That would be down to the shop, but shouldn't be a problem. Sometimes I have asked a shop to split a payment between card and cash and they've been happy to do so. The only problem I foresee would be if the merchant is charged for each card transaction, which could add up if using a number of cards.
