When I rang up they told me there were people cheating by using diffrent email addresses but they can easily rectify it because when they claim them they will know from the addresses and details given to claim the card!

I've used different email addresses to try to track entries and wins, I think others have done this too. Hope they are not going to disqualify people just because they have used different email addresses. I have never entered more than one code per hour though.
  • I've also had loads of codes that have come up as used when I know they're not.

Does anyone know if they are still behind with the wem's, I know it said 72hrs but before it broke:o you were notified aprox 30-40mins after entry, sorry if this sounds stupid but I have not entered since it broke so not sure if they have caught up or not:confused:

As for the Cheats well, me nan always said "cheats never prosper" so add that to "what goes around comes around" and they will get there comuppance one day;)

Don't worry hun because A) they are only referring to people who entered multiple times per hour via multiple email addresses
and B) I imagine that they want an end to this comp as soon as is humanly possible - so they will just print and post the cards then shut it all down and crack open a bottle of scotch! :rotfl:

Would it not have been possible to have asked supermarkets to feed back codes purchased boxes , and accept only these?
Also is it so hard to verify the addresses of those entering from mutiple emails esp if they won from few and had the same address

I only started doing this Magnum thingy late last month when the Magnums went on offer at Tesco. (Couldn't have justified almost £2 a box otherwise - although my ds would argue the point!)
I'm intrigued as to what the original glitch was. Can anyone tell me whether it was ridiculously easy to win back in April - and why?
Some of the codes on my sticks have come up as already being used, so I suspect there are some saddos sitting there all day working out what the codes could be - at the expense of others. Grrrr!
Nipped into Sainsbury's yesterday to see if I could pick up any 99p boxes. Spotted a stack of the offending flyers on the customer services desk, and swiped one - only to find that they had crossed out the proposed Magnum promotion, and had handwritten 'Offer Cancelled' across the ad. Gutted!
Guess I'll have to make do with the few sticks I have left. (And I know some of them are ones that cheats have worked out the codes for. Kept them because I thought that I was inputting them wrongly - now I know better). Only got 2 single magnums  in the freezer. (DS will claim them no doubt!).
On a happier note, I had a WEM this morning for another £10. :j Bit strange that it came at 05:34 cos I'm sure I didn't enter one that early recently...
    Thanks PPD! x :T

woke up to no wins overnight, but found my two sister cats snuggled up together and between them two kittens :D, so feels like a win as I love kittens. Now off to see the dishy vet with the other cat who is covered in unmentionables (she can't groom as has a head collar and it won't come off) after laying next to the mummy cat and helping her out, lol :o

Not sure if I will buy anymore Magnums today, coop and Asda are not near and wins seem few and far between.
    Wishing you a lucky 2023: 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀

Yes I noticed that too, I havent won anything at all in the past week since I started and have entered about 12 boxes.... very strange, either a back log or the money has run out!
