    When I rang up they told me there were people cheating by using diffrent email addresses but they can easily rectify it because when they claim them they will know from the addresses and details given to claim the card!
    I assume this is what they are on about I was worried the other day because I emailed a code at 7:57am and text one at 8:02 going off my computer clock then found from my texts it went through at 7:59!! So I rang them to double check (because at first I thought it was ok to text and email in the same hour!) she said it will go off the time it was recieved by there system.. I didnt win off either of them anyway lol
    2010 challenge A.B.C.D.[STRIKE]E.[/STRIKE]F.G.H.I.J.[STRIKE]K[/STRIKE].L.M.N.O.P.Q.[STRIKE]R[/STRIKE].S.T.U.V.W.X.Y.Z
    Best of luck everyone!
    I have also gone for platinum in the presents challenge.2/15

    Only one entry per SMS number/ISP address per draw. It doesnt say per SMS and email it says or, so I think if you were told that, they have contradicted their terms. :confused:

    In honesty, seeing as how Magnum couldn't organise anything for this comp, they are unlikely to do anything to stop those who are cheating which annoys me. I haven't had a win in days and i have 2 sticks left which i'll enter on the final day, no point buying more as those buying hundreds of packs and making multiple entries per hour (i.e cheating) are ruining it for everyone else :(

    I just called Magnum for clarification on this and was once again told the following;

    5. Codes are valid for one use only. Only one entry per SMS number/ISP address per draw.

    This according to Magnum Customer Service team means that you may only enter once by mobile AND once per email per hour
    So in effect if you had the sticks you can enter once by mobile and once by web entry every hour.

    If it was once per hour per person, this would be stated in the T&C's

    Which proves that their grammatical skills are as good as their promotional skills :rolleyes:

    I have to say that although their organisation has been terrible, I bet they've sold more magnums in 3 months than they normally sell in a year, so their promotional skills can't be that bad:rotfl:

    True enough lousue0906 - "promotional" was not the best choice of wording there. :rotfl:

    I reckon most people will have made at least a small profit - the sad thing is, the people who really need the money are the people who couldn't afford to buy Magnums in the first place.

    Seriously, if you've got £800 to blow on a punt, you can't really be too badly off to start with!
