To make sure you get quickly and fully up to date, you need to right click on your "My computer" icon, and choose "Properties" (at the bottom of the menu) then click on the "Security" tab. Near the bottom right of that page is a link direct to the Microsoft updates page.

Alternatively... use this link (which is where all the above sends you) :)

    http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us

You're going to have quite a lot of work to do! No kidding!

Edit: You can only do the update using Internet Explorer 5 (or later). The page gives you link to upgrade your explorer should you need it.

Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Board guides are not moderators and don't read every post. If you spot an inappropriate or illegal post then please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com. It is not part of my role to deal with reportable posts. Any views are mine and are not the official line of MoneySavingExpert.

I'd hope that after seven weeks that it would all be completed!
