Any suggestions?

I have a similar query so thought I would add to this post instead of starting another. I would like email on the move also, I mean emails delivered when they're sent and me being able to reply using my phone.

Currently I have a Voda £20 pm sim only deal.

What is the cheapest way for me to access email? Currently have SE c902.

    Thanks

Would this be suitable - http://www.emoze.com ? Anyone any idea how much Voda will charge me for a data package.
  • You could buy a BlackBerry Pearl 8120 on Orange PAYG for £125, then pay £5 a month for unlimited email on it?

Take it on their Canary plan then you'd get 2 hours free eve/wkd calls every month so long as you top up a tenner a month... and have £5 credit to use on texts too :)

Have noticed Vodafone charge £5 per month for unlimited email/internet (500mb), I don't mind buying a cheap blackberry on eBay and putting my sim in.

I just want a good phone for emailing, any ideas?

Not sure about Vodafone but on Orange you can't add the BlackBerry add-on to SIM only, only to pay monthly.

Cheapest way on Orange is Panther 35 through website which is then £30, gives 600 minutes, 500 texts and unlimited e-mail and browsing, all handsets are free on this tariff and if you get compatible one such as BlackBerry 8900 you also have free sat nav included (Orange Maps).

£30 per month is a good price but would prefer not to be tied into a long contract plus the Orange signal is rubbish where I live.

Is there any way I can "cheat" and pay for unlimited internet and use a service such as Emoze, is it any good and does it support html emails?
  • If you have home broadband you can hook the BlackBerry up to your wireless connection and the signal comes through your broadband rather than masts which guarantees signal, it's a service called unique phone.

As for emoze I haven't used it sorry but doubt very much you could beat a BlackBerry for the e-mail service it provides, I know what your saying about getting a long contract but for £30 a month you get a lot of value and a great handset in the 8900 :)

Sorry I can't be of more help

Vodafone said I can add Blackberry service to my £20 pm sim only deal for £10 per month. Any better options for blackberry.
