PS3 connecting to surround sound amp

yep, sorry, i'm getting tired now :rolleyes:

and if you used phono (the red+white plugs), you will need to select Audio Input Connector / SCART / AV MULTI in the ps3 sound output settings

You need to set the PS3 to shoot BITSTREAM down the optical output
But thats the easy bit
The hard part is you normally need to set the av amp up too (easier said than done in some cases)

thats right rik i only use a stereo amp with phono leads, i missed thre OP wanted surround
