Terrible suffering in BTL land reported daily...

My BTL is pretty cool, ta for asking. Still haven't had even one day's void in two and a half years and our tenants have just signed a new 12 month contract. The rent is still covering the mortgage, although we've opted to keep exactly the same mortgage payments at the present time so there's a lot more capital being paid off.
We're aiming for a mortgage free date on the property in January 2011. My 30th birthday would be around that time so we're planning to save up four months worth of the rent at that point and go on a bit of a Vegas blow out.
So as I say, good ta.0 -

Funny how not one single person on here has had this misfortune? Maybe they're all on the debt forum.
Fungus perhaps you should ask on there.0 -

The BTLers I know are doing very well, and wanting to buy more now that interest rates have dropped!

Sorry if this info isn't what you wanted to hear, but where, what and when you bought has made a difference. Some were canny then others!

No worries. Happy to explain, but it involves a number of factors, which people who deal in black and white situations may find difficult to comprehend.
