Can anyone tell me if Mint has a minimum credit limit applicable please?
As my Mint balance is decreasing I'm decreasing my credit limit ..... this has two effects a) temptation to spend on the card is removed (I've cut the card up but there's always the please can you replace my damaged card call isn't there!) and b) the available credit total is falling - at some point I WILL become attractive to cheaper forms of credit so get rid of the debt quicker.
I've tried to find out if there was a minimum credit limit with Mint but no-one there seems to know - I was even told that I could only reduce my limit once in a six month period!!!!
(btw I always make sure that my new reduced limit will cover any interest charges!)

For most credit card companies it is £500.0

I have been offered one as low as £200 before with Natwest which I never used.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 0650

Egg and Capital One have both previously offered me £400.
I'm guessing if NatWest offer £200 then Mint will be the same low limit, given that they're both RBS Group cards, although obviously this may not be the case.

Have you checked the T & C, it normally states how much it would be when you 1st apply. I think the lowest amount would be £200 as I know Capital One is that."I AM THE GATEKEEPER OF MY OWN DESTINY" Nacho Libre

Thanks guys for the replies.
Hopefully it will be as low as £200 as that's under a month's payment.
