I think I can get 02 .... checking T & C's, minimum PAYG top-up's etc0

Well......It means yes, you can get adsl broadband. But that's all - there is no o2 adsl2 etc option.
And the plus net £6 deal won't be available.0 -
The price I pay (excuse the pun) for living in the countryside, methinks ...

Cheapest Plusnet available & not a lot of peer to peer action is looking the most likely, am sure it'll be fine ....0

Are you sure about the cheapest plusnet?
Have you checked the small print that comes with the offer? Don't ignore the *!* Plusnet Value broadband starts at £5.99 a month for the first 3 months. If you live in one of our low cost areas you'll then pay this price every month. If you live outside of one of these areas you'll then pay £11.99 a month thereafter.0 -
I can't see many others cheaper than them tho, Quentin, even at £11.99 .... plus no connection charge and a few quid back from Quidco ?

Ok - last thought on plusnet: they are really owned by BT, and have recently changed their whole approach.
Previously (prior to bt taking them over) they had a good reputation, had no minimum contracts, no speed restrictions etc. Last month they brought out the cheap deal, presumably so BT can compete with talk talk and o2 without lowering their BT branded prices. But changed overnight to minimum 18 month contracts.

Hi cornish
Just a thought....
Did you have a look at thinkbroadband ? There are other adsl providers that won't appear on uswitchbroadband, for example newnet, who offer a monthly package for £11.70 a month and 4thenet who have a £9.99 (+VAT) a month offer just coming out.
