Hi all
I am pretty well known within my family and friends circle for baking - hate blowing my own trumpet but my cakes, tarts, sponges and pies etc are always good.
As I am always in need of extra cash I had been thinking about taking a stall at a farmers market and selling there. Have done a search on here as i remembered the christmas cakes on ebay thread- but cannot find the info i need.
do any of you know the legalities behind this? are there laws regarding indemnity insurance, kistchen standards etc?
( if this is in the wrong forum please feel free to move it )
thanks
bw.

We have a small business board where you might get more help and pointers towards the sort of information you need. I'm pretty sure there are are kitchen standards you would have to meet and not carrying insurance of some description when dealing with foods is possibly necessary, certainly wise.
I'll move the post across for you and let the experts at it
