Hi, I am currently with VM for broadband and home phone (non-cable), they are 10.00 each per month, free eve & w/end calls (I usually pay about 5 per month in calls) I pay line rental to BT.
I am out of contract period and looking to cut costs, I am happy with the service I receive but know I can save money. I do have SKY basic TV so could go to them.
My main requirement is reliability and good cust services, if I am going to lose that I would rather not move, but if anyone could recommend a reputable good value supplier I would be very grateful.
I don't mind have phone & BB with seperate companies.
Many thanks.

checks samknows.com to see if sky have unbundled (LLU) your exchange. If they have - go sky!Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0

Thank you for that, I have checked and can get LLU for SKY , is Sky OK for customer service and reliability do you know.0

sky LLU is very highly rated for both performance and CS....I only wish I could get it

Then again, O2/Be LLU is on par, if not slightly better (be)
...but I can't have that either

Well I have phoned both VM and sky to see my options.
After haggling with both, I would be 6.50 a month better off on a like for like with sky, but would have to pay 30.00 activation fee.
VM have reduced my costs so am now thinking I may just as well stay where I am as I have been happy with VM, I will just check that the May price increase will not affect the new price they have given me.
Thanks again for the advice.0 -
if I had the choice (and you can see I have not) I would happily pay £60 to join sky's LLU service which is almost certainly going to be faster than what you are currently getting as it is an adsl2+ service rather than clunky old adsl (which you and I are currently using)Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0

I also am with virgin media and i too wanted to save money i have the tv and broadband package no home phone. i was paying £27 pounds a month. so i rang virgin to see if they could offer me any deals as i was thinking of switching to another provider due to the cost. They were very helpful and like to keep customers firstly they suggested online billing saving a £1 at the time now£1.25 and paying by direct debit thus saving £5 a month then as a loyalty bonus for being a good customer they gave me the xl tv package free i was on L and a discount of £5 per month.so my payments went from £27 to £16 a month. try talking to them first it might help.hope this helps.0
