Help anyone with Nokia N70

Had my phone yesterday, was wondering if there was shortcut to silent mode. Can't seem to find out if there is one.

i've got the nokia 6680...if they work the same, you could press (not press and hold) the power button and it'll bring up the "Profiles" menu....you should be able to select "Silent" mode from there.

iv got a N70 and as mentioned previously, its only the button at the top of the phone that you click down, and select silent.

On my 6680, if you press and hold the hash (#) key silent mode is activated.

Yep that's right, it toggles between the General and Silent profile. It works on any Series 60-based phone (N70, 6680, 6630, etc), so long as the keypad isn't locked.
