Hi

I wonder if anyone can answer this question. I was told that you can only use a PAC code if you change from one mobile provider to another. However, today I was told you could use it with the same provider.

Thanks.

Same provider if it's PAYG to PM (or vice versa), different provider if it's PM to PM, or PAYG to PAYG.

A SAME network (internal) transfer does not make use of a PAC, and it can complicate things if requested.

Thanks, but can you do an internal transfer without a PAC?

Depends on what kind. If you're moving from contract to payg (or the other way), no.

If you want to start a new contract (because it's a better deal than upgrading) and move your number to it, no, you can't do that at all.

If you give a little more info we can answer the question more fully.

    Thanks.

I have a Simplicity SIM 300 minutes a month. I want to change to a Simplicitiy 12-month contract, but want to buy that via Quidco so I get cashback. That would mean me having two SIMS. So can I just transport my monthly SIM number to the 12-month one please?
