Urg - just keep ploughing away at the assignment there is nothing like that feeling of relief when it is completed....... usually just in time to start the next one:p

    Thanks Sophiesmum,

I really enjoy the learning part but really don't see the need to do the assessment!

Oh well it's due in on Friday so that will be a relief. I'll then have to revise for the exam in May. I can't wait for this course to be over - remind me of this when I start talking about the next one!

By the way - how are we going to cope without the forums this weekend? I've been looking forward to be able to get started on all the jobs that I have parked while doing this assignment!

    Hi All,

Huge THANK YOU for the hugs

    Work went ok:

I went in, and before the team leader took off her jacket, I asked if I could have a word.

We popped into the restaurant and I showed her my printout.

    She gave me 2 options:
    1) complain (small instant satisfaction)
    2) realise that my department do not share her views.

I have gone for option 2, and to rise above it. As I am on a 2 hour lunchbreak, the first task when I got home was to write a reply:

1st message that sparked it off (I have the guy as a friend on FB)
Its official. Now left ???????, pheeeeeeeeew! The world is my oyster!

    The comment from his friend:
And who have they replaced you with but ??????? ! What a joke! Hope all is well. Would you be able to do pics of me and kids on 10th?

    My response:
Hi Jacqui (intentionally mis-spelling her name),

Didn't realise you were on facebook!

Perhaps you should crack on with your own life rather than gossiping about your colleagues

    ??? x

I know that it is evil, but I am sure that there is much more that I could do . The thing is that she is so 2 faced (was chatting about the weekend to her yesterday in the lift!).

While I was out shopping on saturday, there was a brand of marmalade which has the following 3 words to discribe it: Rich, Bitter, Thick ----I might buy her a present, and say something like, saw this and thought of you. My colleagues will provide me with an alibi! But then, she should concentrate on her own life office gossip says that her hubby is in prison due to *alleged* peodophile activity (I know that I should not comment, but  to the hubby - they should be locked up on an island!) and she is a swinger!

So, as my list this morning was short, I have done the following:

*Phoned up agencies to see if there are any jobs
*checked Quidco £5 something on its way to me)
    * put more change in the sealed pot

Got an email saying that there is a £26m Euromillions rollover - our syndicate is doing a line (forgot my purse this morning, so need to take the money in this afternoon).

Think that is about it, sorry it is like war and peace, and congrats to those who are still awake!.

Hugs to those who are sick, or just down in the dumps.

I just went to Tesco and brought a new suit and another pair of trousers and 4 shirts for £110.

All my clothes are getting tatty and previously I would have gone to M&S and spent that on one pair of trousers and 2 shirts but I really dont have to look super smart at the office I just need to follow the dress code so thats what I've done. when I need smarter clothers I'll buy them and hopefully by then I'll have lost some othe weight I'm trying to shift too. Now I have another £100 I can take off my overdraft

It's not like the jacket doesnt end up on the back of my chair for the entire day anyways. :rotfl::rotfl:

My tomatoes which someone advised me to put on a moist paper towel in a tupperware box in the airing cupboard (lid on) have germinated after 2 days - how nifty is that.
