    Morning all

As promised to Andan on the 101 things thread, I have returned! Sorry I haven't been around recently, am going to be debt free in 15 days so things have fallen by the wayside a bit and I've overspent this month - need to get back on track if I don't want to just fall back into debt again!

    Today:

    2 x scratches - 10p and 20p
    Charge mobile at work
Free cinema tickets for tonight (to see Genova) through PT job
Print out vouchers for food for next weekend (going to see parents in Bristol)
Check RBS ISA is closed - it is, and got £2.41 interest paid into current account
Check for refund on Take That tickets - not come through yet, boooo
Lunch and tea from home, stops me buying anything for cinema
Small bits across to savings account

I think that's everything, have good days everyone. Candy, hope work goes ok, and Milly I hope you feel better soon xx

Candy, your colleague is a numpty (apologies to Numpty Monkey who is in fact cute and gorgeous :D ) if they believed that posting on Facebook is the same as gossiping in the corridor. They deserve any disciplinary action that may arise from posting on a public forum such remarks. I'm not surprised that it makes you feel bleurgh about going into work. (I regularly overhear one of my colleagues bellyaching about me, she does it about everybody, and I'm going to make an official complaint while she's away next week - it is very unprofessional.)

Anyway, have a rant here - it'll make you feel better, and it is anonymous -I hope

    And today I have/will:
    • brought in a packed lunch (HM bread, leftover roast chicken -YUM)
    • scratch'n'click
    • keep looking for mystery shops (3 last week :j nothing this week  )
    • nurture my seedlings
    • housework using OS methods in preparation for Popeyes return tomorrow :smileyhea
    • Not only a NSD yesterday, but found 40p in the new vending machine :j (it doesn't automatically give change, and people haven't got the hang of it yet.......:o ) It feels more naughty than finding the money on the street :o
Have a great day everybody :D

***not looking forward to work this morning. I was on facebook this morning, and someone from work had called me a joke! and b**tched about me to the guy who done the job previously  . I am going to speak to the agency to pull me out of there and the team leader to complain - I would like an apology from the person.******

    Sorry rant over,

  • Cancelled my Yellow Pages ad today. I'm not convinced that it is the best use of advertising money for my sort of business anyway.
I will still have a freebie one liner in there.
It will save me about £250 over the next year. I could cold call for a couple of weekends and get as much work in as I would from a yearly YP ad.
It's not strictly a personal expense but freeing up that money will be a bit more that I can spend on debt repayments.

Hi all I have not posted on here in ages but my contract has come to an end and I am now unemployed so it is more important than ever that we stay on track. Altho £ is important to me - it is more important that I keep my spirits up while off work as I am someone who works for the sake of their own sanity!!!

    Today I have already
    - Had a lie in :rotfl:
    - Done daily scratchcards - 30p up
    - Checked my e-mail re jobs - nothing new
    - Done bp need another 4500 points to claim a voucher
    - Referred someone to ipoints giving me 100 points (need about 2500 for an Asda voucher)

    Still to do
    - [strike]Get dressed - have breakfast[/strike]:rotfl:
[strike]- Submit JSA claim[/strike]Have a JSA interview tomorrow
    - Try and find bank insurance to see if I will be eligible to claim if still unemployed in 30 days
    - Prepare for interview tomorrow
    - Try and have an NSD
    - Check internet to see if any more jobs to apply to
    - Make CV searchable on TotalJobs
    [strike]- Cook meals from storecupboard/freezer[/strike]
[strike]- Try and gather info ready for JSA meeting[/strike]
    - Finish tidying lounge
    - Make a start on tidying hallway
    - Ideally do more tidying of the kitchen
    - Take charity bag to charity shop
    - Sort washing - [strike]one load in[/strike]
    - Possibly do some e-mail surveys
    - Check new car insurance docs are as expected!
[strike]- Pick kids up from school and take DD to do a show[/strike]

I think that is the sum of excitement planned for today - it is likely that some of this could spill into tomorrow:rolleyes:

:j I got invited to another interview Tuesday :j
