in Water bills
Up till fairly recently I have paid Thames Water about £200 a year for water.
Now having to pay Essex and Suffolk water for water and Anglian water for sewerage. I have just received bills from both (water meter read and not estimated) and going on these it looks as though my yearly charges will be in the region of £250 to Anglian and £100 to Essex and Suffolk. This seems a lot to me.
There are only 2 of us. We shower every day but both in and out fairly quickly. Washing machine used about 5 times a week and dishwasher about 2/3. That's it really. Do you think this is a bit much?

The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie

Washing machine is where the water is going...0 -
Gosh, looking at what some of you pay my bill doesn't seem so bad. I'll have to try and cut my use of washing machine, but I don't know howThe world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0

FULL load each time, and on Gentle Refresh, unless clothes are heavily soiled.
Aim for less rinses or no rinses...then full spin seperately. Only me here, so one big wash per week...anything over gets soaked and handwashed then spinned. About 2 gallons.0
