ARGH any advice?

Ok Sky+ installed last thursday. A right pain in the **** now! Twice in the last hour has this crashed, screen went black light is green then after a min goes to standby then after 10mins goes back on! Any advice? Was recording a film earlier and thanks to this flipping thing it was only part recorded!

Is the box getting too hot? It has been a warm day today.

If so, then a call to sky is in order for a replacement box! ;)

The Pace boxes were much better, after 3 Amstrads eventually got a Pace which lasted for 4 1/2 years. The problem is Sky now own Amstrad so the chances are you will be stuck with one of those.

    Replaced with a Thomson

Must be starting at the bottom and working my way up:confused:

I remember the days when you could choose what box you wanted online!
