If your neighbour pays rates and you are on a water meter get them to fill your paddling pools, and use their water to wash your cars etc etc etc.May 2015 £10 a day currently £2080

congratulations SPEWY!
I was watching a programme about conning people the other day, what they do is use your mobile and put a tarriff on it, so when your mates ring you you get paid. I must look into that one. JOKING DARLINGS!!! I would never do that to my friends.

Be mean to all your friends. That way they won't buy you any christmas and birthday prezzies and you don't have to buy them one back!0

Next time you go out to a river festival, REFUSE to pay £1.60 for a bottle of diet cola just because it's a sweltering day and they can charge you what they like :$ Instead simply stay in the sun and run out of moisture.
Why I didn't follow my own advice today I do not know.0 -

This may be a bit dodgy.
Try putting your car into neutral (and take your foot of the clutch) also when approaching a junction, traffic lights, round about, lowering of speed limit - anywhere where you might be applying the brakes soon, and criuse down to the speed or stop using your brakes less, should also save on wear and tear on your brakes!!
I do this all the time, but OH reckons it's not safe (though I'm sure it must be safer than tuning the engine off as you can knock it back into gear quick enough), not sure anyone got any opinions?
Nightowl.
Wouldn't recommend either to new or less than confident drivers!!!!
I'm always doing this. Detling Hill in Kent. Get to the top and then knock the car into neutral and cruise down the rest of the way knocking it back into 5th gear when I get down to 55mph. I have heard it's not safe no control over the car etc. But not sure how this works. The brakes must be as effective if used in neutral as they are in gear unless I am missing a point?
I too also knock it into neutral when approaching traffic lights etc.0 -
