That is so sad - women shouldn't have to pay for tampons in the first place. It's not our fault we have periods. Getting condoms and oral contraception for free but not tampons seems wrong to me. I hope you can afford them again now? If not, maybe buy your other toiletries at Boots, save up points on the advantage card and use your points to buy tampons. Look out for free samples too. Maybe phone the NHS and ask how to get them for free?
Anyway good luck with the moneysaving and I hope it all starts looking up!

Lushsavinggoddess has issued some great tips about tampons! You go girl! I am cheeky and get my OH to buy them! :rolleyes: Lilletts of course! if you can get a BOGOF you're laughing.
I also saw an art exhibition the other day and it had a load lined up as an art piece! I thought about popping one in my handbag but thought I'd better not, it might be worth loads and upset the artist! ££££'s for tampons, what ever next!!

Continuing uses for tampons: No need to buy toys for your cat to play with, one of my cats likes to play with little white mouse!! He is sufficientially obsessed that I have to keep them hidden from him.

Babe that is so gross! You should make your cat a mouse a toy with an old sock stuffed with old fluffy PJ's cut up or something like that. My cat likes to play with my hair extentions. don't worry - I only paid £100 for em! But i don't think my OH would have me any other way. :rolleyes:

My friend's planning to fill up his shower gel and shampoo bottles at the gym. I'm not sure if he's done it yet, but I think it's a very good idea!

I try to jam lots of clothes into the washing machine to save on laundry detergent (which is cheap anyway, as I only buy economy brands). I don't know how clean my clothes are, but I don't stink so it must be OK.

Finally, I save loads on meals because my office fridge is magic. All sorts of packed lunches, sandwiches, fruit cups and juices appear from nowhere all the time - it's like a free buffet every day!
