Have to visit Cambridge city centre and need to park our car for the day.
Park and ride is a possibility but will cost about the same as Queen Anne Terrace car park. Has anyone a cheaper/better solution?

Queen Anne is about the cheapest city centre option. If you're prepared to walk a bit, you can park unrestricted in Grantchester Street and surrounding roads (unless it's changed recently).0

The last time I went on the roads off Mill Road I'm sure on-street parking was free, just a nice leisurely walk across Parker's Piece from the town.
I'm not entirely sure where Queen Anne Terrace is but parking in Cambridge is hideously priced, even at the Grafton Centre which is as far out of the town as Mill Road.
Park & Rides are swift, efficient, and frequent and get my vote - for the lack of stress alone - most times I visit.#145 Save £12k in 2016 Challenge: £12,062.62/£12,000.00 Beginning Balance: £5,027.78 CHALLENGE MET
