Guys can anyone who owns this model SX100 confirm you can print in black only if required, as I bought a HP PSC1215 all in one that only prints in colour with no black only setting which is an expensive waste of colour ink at £12 per colour cartridge.

Yes. If you go to advanced settings, you can tick a "black only".

Thanks Bookworm, just reserved one at Comet for £27.

I'll sell my PSC1215 on eBay with original box and packaging for £15 and a spare new colour cartridge for £10 which will pay for the Epson, easy worth it for the cheap cartridges and individual colours.

I purchased the SX100 last year, and took it back after a week.
    The noise was horrendous.

PCworld have got it for £29.35. Use 5% code posted on hotukdeals bringing it to £27.88. Quidco give 4%, bringing it down further to £26.77 & they give free delivery, so no hassle of collecting instore. Also the pcworld model is the sx105, so I assume this is a newer model.
    Next year we'll be millionaires!

I do have to agree the noise is a lot louder than I was expecting... ill see how long this one lasts...although as my scanner had died this week, this is a cheap replacement.
